When are The Forum events?
We present five Forum programs each season: November, January, February, March and April. All Forum programs are on Saturday evenings at 8:00 PM.
Where are the Forum events held?
The Forums are held at the Landmark Theater in Richmond, VA, located at 6 North Laurel Street adjacent to Virginia Commonwealth University.
How do I attend The Richmond Forum?
We offer season subscription tickets and, if available, single event tickets to individuals. We also offer corporate sponsorship packages. Please call our office (804) 330-3993 for more information. Tickets are sold only through The Richmond Forum offices. No tickets are sold at The Landmark Theater.
What are the subscription benefits?
Subscribers are assured a seat for all five Forums in the season. Subscribers also have priority when requesting additional seats for a single Forum event. Subscribers who are unable to attend an event may donate their tickets to The Forum no later than 5:00 PM the day before the event and receive a tax credit donation letter.
Renewing subscribers have the option of upgrading their seats or retaining their current seats. Renewal notices are mailed to subscribers in February or March. Please call (804) 330-3993 for more information about becoming a Forum subscriber.
How do I purchase single event tickets?
If interested in single event tickets, please join our email list. People on our email list will be sent a reminder and notification about ticket availability approximately three weeks prior to each Forum event. Please call (804) 330-3993 for more information about single event tickets.
How can I become a sponsor of The Richmond Forum?
The Forum offers a variety of corporate sponsorship packages. Please contact the Director of Development at (804) 330-3993 to discuss the opportunities available.
Can tickets be exchanged or refunded?
All sales are final; there are no exchanges or refunds.
Are wheelchair accessible seats available?
Yes, the Landmark Theater does have a limited number of wheelchair accessible seats. Please call The Richmond Forum office (804) 330-3993 in advance to notify us about your seating needs.
Is there an elevator?
Yes, the elevator goes to both balcony levels, however getting to seats in those sections may require climbing a few steps.
Are hearing assistance devices available for the Forum events?
Yes, the Landmark Theater provides a limited number of infrared hearing assistance devices for free. They are distributed at a table in the Landmark Theater lobby. You will be asked to leave your ID in exchange for the device.
Is parking provided at the Landmark Theater?
The primary parking area is the VCU parking deck located on Main Street between Cherry and Laurel Streets, immediately to the south of the Theater. This lot can be accessed from Cary or Main Street.
What time does the Theater open?
The lobby opens at 7:00 PM. Seating begins at 7:15 PM. The Forum often includes a live musical program beginning at 7:30 PM.
Is there an emergency number I can leave at home?
The Landmark Theater's administrative office number is (804) 646-0546. It's helpful to leave your seat location at home as well.
What should I do if I've lost or misplaced my tickets?
If you know before 2:00 PM on the day of the event, please call The Richmond Forum at (804) 330-3993 and indicate that you need to have duplicate tickets waiting for you at the Box Office. The Box Office opens at 7:15 PM on Forum dates. If you realize there's a problem after that time simply come to the Box Office as soon as you arrive for the event, show us your ID and we will issue you duplicate tickets.
What happens in inclement weather?
Should bad weather ever require us to reschedule or cancel an event, we will get the word out via this website, emails to our subscribers, a message on our office voicemail, and by notifying local television and radio stations and the Richmond Times Dispatch.
