How to Become a Subscriber

  • The 2017-2018 season lineup will be announced on April 22, 2017 at our program with Ron Howard. Current subscribers will have first chance to renew or upgrade their subscriptions for next season.
  • Available new subscriptions for the 2017-2018 season will be sold by lottery. Please read details here.
  • Join our e-mail list to receive the announcement of next season’s speakers and an invitation to participate in the lottery for new subscriptions.
  • We expect to mail season tickets to subscribers in October 2017.

Subscription Renewal

  • Subscription renewal information for the 2017-2018 season will be e-mailed to current subscribers on April 22, 2017 and mailed on April 24, 2017.
  • The subscription renewal deadline is May 27, 2017. Seats not renewed by that deadline will be made available first to subscribers who wish to upgrade their seats, and then to new subscribers.
  • Season tickets will be mailed to subscribers on October 30, 2017.

  • Subscriptions must be paid in full at time of purchase.
  • All subscription sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
  • Subscriptions are non-transferable.
  • Subscribers must adhere by all policies of The Richmond Forum and the Altria Theater in order to be considered a Subscriber in good standing.
  • Due to the high profile of our speakers and the security surrounding many of our programs, reselling Forum tickets is a violation of our subscriber agreement. Subscribers advertising their tickets for sale forfeit their right to renew their subscription for the following season. If you are unable to attend a program, you may donate your tickets back to The Forum for a tax credit.
  • No tickets are sold at the theater on the night of the event.
  • Programs, topics, dates and times are subject to change.
  • For your safety, and out of courtesy to other attendees, once the program has started, late arrivers will not be seated in the theater until intermission.
  • If someone else purchases your tickets in their name, please keep in mind that we will not recognize you as a subscriber. For instance, sometimes two couples will attend The Forum together and one couple will purchase all four tickets. That couple is the subscriber for all four seats. To protect your seats and avoid confusion, make sure your seats are in your name!
