A native of Roanoke, Andrew Winn grew up in a musical family and studied classical guitar at VCU in the 1990s. While in Richmond, he formed the band Agents of Good Roots. Agents toured extensively and cultivated a unique sound that blended jazz, pop, and funk. After the band broke up in the early 2000s, he studied classical music at Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, MD, and then taught for several years.
Seeking a different challenge, he decided to pursue medicine in 2007. Andrew is currently a practicing anesthesiologist and plays music as often as he can. He has admired and collaborated with Regan for over three decades.
Regan and Andrew will open our evening at 7:30 PM with a selection of songs about love and relationships recorded live for The Richmond Forum at Shockoe Sessions Live at Richmond’s In Your Ear Studios
